Leader of assembly lines, responsible for ensuring and leading service departments to achieve company objectives through strategy and teamwork.
Experience and Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. A committee will evaluate whether a completed degree is required.
1 to 3 years of experience in production areas (assembly systems, manufacturing, or automotive industry).
Knowledge, Skills, and Certifications
50% English proficiency.
Knowledge of products, manufacturing and assembly processes, and quality systems.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Basic knowledge of Windows applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Analytical skills, sound judgment, decision-making, negotiation, persuasion, and people orientation.
High level of motivation and problem-solving skills.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Lead, ensure, and maintain an environment that complies with Safety and Health standards.
Responsible for generating and following up on Risk Assessments and leading Risk Mitigation activities.
Responsible for ensuring performance indicators through the BSC (Qro) / SMR (Jrz).
Responsible for meeting Index Rate objectives and generating containment and corrective actions.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsible for Gemba and 5S audits.
Responsible for fostering a safety environment by promoting best safety practices.
Responsible for ensuring that all safety procedures are followed within their areas.
Generate and maintain a work environment consistent with the BRP culture.
Responsible for applying internal work rules and policies.
Responsible for taking actions to achieve turnover, absenteeism, and HI targets.
Responsible for ensuring team participation in all assigned training activities for development and for providing proper follow-up throughout the process.
Responsible for managing PMP and PDP processes for their team when applicable.
Responsible for creating a work environment based on trust, respect, and teamwork.
Responsible for keeping the team motivated.
Act as a constant promoter of BRP Values.
Responsible for payroll.
Act as a coach for team members.
Manage KPIs and implement appropriate action plans when necessary.
Responsible for understanding the team's contribution and impact on the area's KPIs, specifically those derived from team performance.
Responsible for leading or assigning the appropriate PSP when a KPI target is not achieved.
Responsible for communicating area results to the team.
Provide, ensure, and maintain quality standards.
Responsible for quality within their area.
Initiate improvement activities.
Take ownership of quality within their area.
Responsible for respecting and enforcing the processes and standards established in the Quality System.
Ensure compliance with the production plan .
Responsible for following and adhering to the production plan.
Responsible for generating and maintaining synergy among departments to achieve objectives.
Responsible for optimizing the use of resources to ensure maximum efficiency.
Provide, ensure, and maintain BRPMS tools.
Responsible for following BRPMS tools and their implementation within their areas. Ensure a Lean culture among their teams and act as a coach in promoting continuous improvement practices.
Manage the budget, seeking resource efficiency.
Responsible for monitoring Direct Labor and distributing resources within their areas while maintaining line balance.
Responsible for managing overtime and ensuring its effective utilization.
Responsible for Tool Crib expenses according to budget guidelines.
Responsible for following the SCRAP procedure.
Participate in the fulfillment of the QMS (Quality Management System) requirements assigned to their role in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.
Comply with the safety rules established according to their role.
Complete all planned Quality and Training-related courses within the established timelines.
Identify and report any quality or compliance issues and support corrective actions.
