GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Under the Supervision of the Maintenance Manager, lead the Equipment Maintenance function for the Operations BU JRZ2.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Professional degree in Engineering or verifiable experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing and/or the automotive industry.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Mexican and international standards NOM, OSHAS, ISO-9001 for risk management, business continuity, change management and emergency preparedness.
- Solid knowledge in Project Management and Maintenance.
- Technical experience in metal-mechanical processes and equipment, including PLC controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, metrology and flexible assembly.
- Strong skills in problem solving, risk analysis and communication.
- Ability to work in a multicultural and multigenerational environment
- Leader who leads with a strong focus on teamwork and customer service.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrate leadership and commitment to define, maintain and improve our sustainability plan for Maintenance and Plant Operations.
- Develop, enforce and support all company policies and procedures regarding the company’s commitment to safety.
- Ensure compliance with Mexican laws, NOM and ISO-9001 standards.
- Manage the plant engineering and maintenance function to minimize downtime in a lean, one-piece flow environment.
- Management of visitors, consultants and contractors
- Ensure proper communication and collaboration between different functions and BRP sites.
- Any other duty or responsibility assigned by your supervisor.
- Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for their role in relation to ISO9001:2015.
- Comply with the safety rules determined according to their role.
- Complete planned trainings related to Quality and Training on time.
- Identify and report any issue regarding quality and compliance and support corrective actions.
