PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
Provide leadership for process control in the process.
Problem resolution with supplier and customers.
Support the corrective action system (internal and external).
Provide technical support to MfG Eng and MFg regarding quality of product and his function within the design.
Quality gage requirement for processes.
Provide leadership to QC engineers and technicians.
Works closely with engineering and manufacturing in capacity studies, gage R&R and DOE.
Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by department supervisor.
Performs activities related to safety.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Education: Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineer.
80% Bilingual.
Knowledge of ISO9000.
Geometric tolerances and blueprint reading.
Computer literate on Microsoft.
Problem solving techniques.
PFMEA, DOE, QFD, PPAP, APQP.
Good analytical skills.
Experience in Quality Control.
Good judgment.
Strong leadership.
Good communication skills.
