Position Overview
The Quality Inspector will be responsible for incoming, in-process, and finished product inspections, as well as overall product quality management and continuous improvement activities. This role requires strong knowledge of quality systems, inspection processes, and manufacturing standards, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Inspection
- Perform inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Accurately complete inspection records and issue inspection reports.
- Identify non-conforming products, ensure proper segregation and labeling, and follow up on corrective actions to prevent defects from flowing into subsequent processes.
- Properly use and maintain measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
- Ensure compliance with quality procedures, traceability requirements, and operational standards.
Quality Management & Improvement
- Support quality planning, control, and continuous improvement throughout product development, manufacturing, testing, and acceptance stages.
- Develop project quality plans, including quality standards, acceptance procedures, and key QC checkpoints.
- Monitor project execution, identify quality risks, and drive corrective and preventive actions through closure.
- Organize quality review meetings and coordinate with R&D, production, and purchasing teams to resolve technical and process issues.
- Analyze customer complaints and internal quality data (defect rates, rework rates, etc.) and implement improvement plans.
- Lead or participate in supplier development and supplier audits.
- Prepare quality documentation and reports such as:
- 8D Reports
- FMEA
- Control Plans
- Inspection Reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above (Titulado)
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality management within manufacturing or technology industries.
- Experience in project management or cross-functional collaboration is preferred.
- Familiarity with product development processes such as: APQP / PPAP
- Knowledge of quality tools including: SPC / MSA / 5 Why Analysis/ PDCA / FMEA

- Ability to read technical drawings and inspection standards.

- Detail-oriented with strong sense of responsibility.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Language
- English and Spanish communication skills required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Monthly salary: MXN $20,000 – $25,000 gross
