IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY
Directly responsible, through the supervision of Quality Engineers, for the implementation of necessary systems and controls in the production process to ensure the conformity of the product and process with the client's requirements, participating from the early stages of launch with responsibility direct in the realization and submission of PPAP to clients as well as the implementation of corrective actions at any stage of the process to correct non-conformities of the product, process or system. / Responsable directo por medio de la supervision de Ingenieros de Calidad, de la implementación de sistemas y controles necesarios en el proceso de produccion para asegurar la conformidad del producto y proceso con los requerimientos del cliente , participando desde las etapas tempranas de lanzamiento con reponsabilidad directa en la realizacion y sumision de PPAP a los clientes asi como la implementacion de acciones correctivas en cualquier etapa del proceso para corregir no conformidades del producto, proceso o Sistema.
Coordinate the activities of the Production Parts Approval Process (PPAP), ensuring that quality engineers meet response times and specific customer requirements.
- Manage the customer complaint handling system ensuring that quality engineers use appropriate problem-solving methodologies.
- Manage Customer Service activities regarding product quality.
- Keep the databases updated regarding the status of corrective and preventive actions, both internal and external.
- Coordinate quality planning activities.
- Establish and maintain documented product quality procedures.
- Develop/Review/Update quality plans.
- Identify and acquire any controls, processes, equipment (including equipment inspection and testing), accessories, resources and skills necessary to meet the required quality.
- Identify and prepare product quality records.
- Manage the development and preservation of documentation related to the Production Parts Approval Process as well as representative samples of these process. /
- Preserve documentation of quality plans as indicated by document and data retention procedures.
- Define and establish measurement techniques and sampling plans.
- Define and establish reaction plans when the acceptance criterion is not met.
- Identify and implement statistical verification/validation methods where applicable or as indicated by quality plans.
- Document corrective and preventive actions according to documented procedures.
- Apply documented procedures regarding handling customer complaints.
- Participate in activities related to the Advanced Quality Planning process according to the phases that indicate involvement.
- Comply and satisfy specific customer requirements.
- Identify the need to use statistical techniques to control processes, products.
- Update, as necessary, quality control, inspection and testing techniques, including the development of new instrumentation.
- Define adequate identification and verification at appropriate stages in the realization of the product.
- Apply and comply with the requirements of the quality system.
- Comply with assignments from the Quality Supervisor.
- Participate in the physical inventories that are organized in the company.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Engineering / Licenciatura en Ingeniería
- 4 to 5 years’ experience in the automotive industry focusing on quality systems. / Experiencia de 3 a 5 años en la industria automotriz con enfoque en sistemas de calidad.
- Knowledge in ISO 9000 & IATF 16949 / Conocimientos en ISO 9000 & IATF 16949
- Knowledge of Problem Solving / Conocimiento de Resolución de Problemas
- Knowledge in Statistical Tool / Conocimiento de Herramientas Estadisticas
- Knowledge in Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC. MSA y FMEA) / Conocimiento de Core Tool (APQP, PPAP, SPC. MSA y FMEA)
- Use of Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) / Uso de Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Leadership, organization and sense or urgency / Liderazgo, organización y sentido de urgencia
- Oral and Written Communication / Comunicación Oral y Escrita
