Procurement Coordinator/Buyer (Remote - Latin America)
Location: Remote (Open to candidates residing in Latin America)
Hours: Full Time (Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST)
Compensation: $6.00 – $8.00 USD per hour (Commensurate with experience and communication proficiency)
About the Client & Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Procurement Coordinator/Buyer on behalf of our client, a growing US-based Janitorial Services and Paper Supplies company.
In this role, you will join their remote team to coordinate daily buying activities, execute product sourcing strategies, interface with suppliers, and ensure their supply chain operations run seamlessly.

- Industry Experience: You must have direct experience in the Janitorial Services and/or Paper Supplies industry within a procurement, supply chain, or buyer capacity.
- Communication Skills: You must possess absolutely exceptional, fluent English speaking skills. You will be negotiating with US vendors daily, so flawless verbal communication is mandatory.
Requirements
- Industry & Role Experience (Required): Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a dedicated procurement, buying, or purchasing position specifically within the Janitorial Services, Facility Maintenance, or Paper Supplies industry. Direct experience sourcing products or merchandise for a company in this sector is required.
- Language Proficiency (Strictly Enforced): High-level professional English proficiency (C1/C2 level) with exceptional verbal communication skills. You must be entirely comfortable speaking, negotiating, and conducting daily business over the phone in English.
- Core Skills: Strong organizational abilities, acute attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Work Style: Ability to work independently, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and manage multiple vendor timelines effectively.
- Logistics: Reliable internet connection, a quiet workspace, and the ability to work a consistent schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Buying: Actively source, evaluate, and acquire janitorial products, paper supplies, and merchandise that meet the client's standards and budgetary goals.
- Supplier Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor communication, negotiating pricing/terms, and managing order timelines.
- Order Processing: Efficiently manage and execute purchase requests from initiation to fulfillment.
- Tracking & Compliance: Maintain meticulous records of orders, pricing structures, inventory, and delivery schedules to ensure accurate reporting and tracking.
