As our Senior Business Consultant , you'll be the primary business contact for external parties during the outreach process. You'll untangle complex issues, bridge the gap between client needs and product development, and make sure the right things get resolved by the right people — quickly and clearly.
This is a role for someone who knows the post-trade world deeply, communicates with confidence at senior levels, and is energised by complexity rather than slowed down by it.
You'll operate at the intersection of client relationships, business analysis, and product collaboration — which means no two days will look exactly the same.
Day to day, you'll:
- Serve as the primary business contact for custodians, asset managers, and fund administrators throughout the outreach process
- Triage complex business issues — deciding what's an outreach matter and what needs to go to product development — and drive resolution either way
- Host work sessions and answer non-standard business questions that junior team members can't handle alone
- Track and follow up on mapping discrepancies between AFT and internal SimCorp systems
- Manage your own outreach assignments end-to-end, escalating to clients when needed and owning internal follow-up on open topics
- Spot patterns in recurring issues and turn them into documented best practices that make the whole team sharper
- Mentor junior colleagues and act as a go-to resource for business expertise within the team
- Solid experience in post-trade processes — settlements, reconciliations, order execution, fund accounting, and SWIFT messaging should feel like familiar territory
- Hands-on knowledge of data mapping and interfacing challenges, ideally gained through onboarding or implementation projects in asset management or asset servicing
- Experience with SimCorp Dimension or a comparable platform is a strong advantage
- A genuine understanding of custodians, asset managers, and fund administrators — including the regulatory and legal context they operate in
- Confident communicator at senior levels, in writing and in person, with external parties and internal stakeholders alike
- Fluent in English
