Overview
The primary objective is to collaborate closely with the PR and Influencer Marketing teams to develop a high-performing content strategies tailored to the local market. This position requires a highly creative mindset, strong digital intuition, and excellent judgment for short-form content, with the ability to identify emerging beauty and skincare trends, cultural nuances, and consumer preferences in México.
This person has the ability to translate market insights into compelling content concepts, working effectively with creators to maximize content quality and performance with a strong lateral thinking skills, continuously iterate on creative frameworks based on short-video performance metrics and the likelihood of producing viral content that ultimately drives business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the translation, cultural adaptation, and re-creation of general brand assets (images, videos, and copywriting) provided by HQ, ensuring all content resonates naturally with popular language, cultural nuances, aesthetic preferences, and beauty trends in Mexico.
- Act as the day-to-day executioner and guardian of the brand voice across local social media platforms, seamlessly integrating global guidelines into the daily lives of local consumers.
- Manage the daily operations of the official TikTok and Instagram accounts for the Mexico market.
- Independently design, plan, and execute monthly content calendars and scheduling targets.
- Foster continuous community and fan interaction, organically engaging with followers and implementing tactics to boost overall engagement rates.
- Select high-quality video materials produced by local creators (KOLs/KOCs) for post-production and optimization.
- Actively collaborate with local marketing teammates to handle copyright communication, authorization verification, and usage agreement follow-ups.
- Re-edit, package, and enhance raw video footage into highly engaging short-form videos with viral potential, strictly aligning with the brand's "personality and cool" style.
- Plan and execute targeted social media activations and account events synchronized with the launch of core products and New Product Developments (NPD).
- Collaborate closely with independent website (Shopify) and e-commerce marketing campaigns to drive qualified traffic conversion through organic content and expand the official account's follower base.
Requirements
- Resume & Portfolio must be send in ENGLISH to consideration.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in social media operations, content creation, or content marketing. (High preference will be given to candidates with a background in the Beauty (Skincare/Cosmetics), Fashion, Wellness, or FMCG industries).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Marketing, Media, Advertising, Communication, Graphic Design, Language-related fields, or similar.
- Professional-level English proficiency (Working Language) is mandatory for direct coordination, reporting, and alignment meetings with global headquarters.
- Proved experience in short-form video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) with a proven ability to independently produce high-quality short videos from start to finish.
- Deep understanding of algorithm logic, analytics, and content trends on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Nice to have a prior understanding of influencer marketing dynamics and smooth collaboration with KOL outreach teams.
- Strong creativity and content intuition with the ability to quickly identify high-performing creative patterns and translate data insights into repeatable content frameworks.
Soft Skills & Competencies
- Keen insight into local Mexican trends, regional slang, consumer behavior, and beauty industry references.
- Strong content planning skills, including the ability to independently design and manage monthly content calendars.
- Ability to manage and organized multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, completing publishing targets on time and with high quality.
- Solid interpersonal skills to collaborate smoothly within cross-functional teams and cross-cultural environments (HQ).
