Position Title: Consumer Digital Ecosystem Senior Associate
Job Level: P2 Location: Mexico
Supervisor: Joseba Barriola Potts
Consumer Digital Ecosystem is a core commercial role within the Eli Lilly Mexico Affiliate, built to translate multi-sourced data (B2B, Consumer, Marketing, and more) into prioritized commercial decisions that drive resource allocation, field execution, and consumer strategies. The position owns the full data consumption-analysis-transformation cycle and works with internal partners (brand teams, commercial teams, global teams, subject matter experts) as well as external partners (technology vendors, digital agencies, telehealth providers, e-commerce platforms) to build and scale consumer-facing digital capabilities that directly unlock new revenue channels and strengthen direct-to-patient relationships.
The Senior Associate needs deep understanding of digital ecosystems, commercial data, and consumer behavior to couple data-driven insights with business strategy and execute high-impact digital initiatives. The Senior Associate demonstrates an innate drive to innovate, a bias for action, and the ability to create seamless consumer experiences that optimize sell-through and build lasting patient relationships.
The Position
We are seeking a data-savvy, digitally-fluent, and strategically-minded individual to join our team as a Consumer Digital Ecosystem Senior Associate. In this role, you will own everything related to the digital ecosystem that directly impacts the consumer and the business — from e-commerce and telehealth to direct-to-consumer selling models and consumer digital journeys. You will be the single dedicated resource accountable for translating data into commercial decisions that optimize digital revenue channels, enhance patient relationships, and drive sell-through across an optimized digital experience.
As a Consumer Digital Ecosystem Senior Associate, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Implement a comprehensive E-Commerce strategy: design, launch, and continuously optimize Lilly’s e-commerce capabilities to drive product accessibility, sell-through, and revenue growth through digital retail channels.
- Launch a telehealth solution embedded in Lilly.com: lead end-to-end implementation of a telehealth capability integrated within Lilly’s digital ecosystem to extend the reach of care, facilitate patient-physician connections, and enhance the direct-to-patient value proposition.
- Build and own a clear Consumer Digital Journey: map, design, and continuously improve the end-to-end digital experience for consumers, ensuring seamless interactions across all digital touchpoints from awareness to purchase and adherence.
- Own the data consumption-analysis-transformation cycle: integrate and synthesize multi-sourced data (B2B, consumer, marketing, etc.) to generate actionable commercial insights, prioritize resource allocation, and inform field and consumer strategies.
- Drive commercial decision-making through digital performance analytics: monitor key digital and commercial metrics (e-commerce conversion, telehealth adoption, digital journey KPIs) and adjust strategies to maximize business impact.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration: partner with brand teams, commercial operations, IT, regulatory, medical affairs, and external vendors to align the digital ecosystem strategy with broader business and compliance priorities.
- Manage and scale external digital partnerships: identify and cultivate relationships with technology partners, digital health start-ups, e-commerce platforms, and telehealth providers to continuously enhance Lilly’s digital consumer ecosystem.
- Support brand teams in integrating digital ecosystem capabilities into their brand strategies, including identification of digital consumer segments, definition of digital-specific Critical Success Factors, and design of brand-level digital journeys.
- Stay ahead of digital trends and innovation: continuously scan the competitive and technology landscape to identify emerging digital capabilities, tools, and models that can be adopted to maintain Lilly’s leadership in consumer-facing digital excellence.
