You Are:
UST is searching for a Data Warehouse Developer to join our Commercial Mortgage Lending technology team. This is a high-performing, Agile team composed of business and technology professionals focused on delivering trusted data solutions and reporting capabilities.
The opportunity:
- Data Integration & Development:
- Design, develop, maintain, and support ETL/ELT processes using Informatica and related data integration technologies.
- Build and optimize data pipelines that extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into operational and analytical data stores.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance database objects including views, stored procedures, functions, and data integration workflows.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through validation, testing, and monitoring processes.
- Data Analysis & Warehousing:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
- Analyze source system data and translate business requirements into scalable data warehouse solutions.
- Support dimensional modeling initiatives utilizing Kimball methodologies and best practices.
- Assist in the design and maintenance of data warehouse schemas, structures, and metadata repositories.
- Perform ETL/ELT testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning activities.
- Leverage established enterprise standards, governance practices, and development frameworks.
- Implement monitoring, ing, and operational controls to ensure reliable data processing.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, data mapping specifications, and process documentation.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

What you need:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud (IICS), or equivalent ETL platform
- Strong ETL/ELT development experience
- Advanced SQL querying and data manipulation skills
- Data analysis and data profiling
- Kimball dimensional modeling
- Relational database concepts and database development
- Data validation, testing, and troubleshooting
- Technical documentation and data mapping
- Erwin Data Modeler or equivalent data modeling tools
- SQL Server development and performance tuning
- Advanced SQL programming, stored procedures, views, and query optimization
- Talend development experience (ETL/Data Integration)
- SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Enterprise scheduling tools (Tidal, Control-M, Autosys, or equivalent)
- SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) or equivalent analytics technologies
- Cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks)
- Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent diagramming tools
- Primary Skills (Must Have):
- Informatica PowerCenter / IICS
- Dimensional Modeling (Kimball)
- Secondary Skills (Nice to Have)
- Enterprise Scheduling Tools (Control-M, Tidal, Autosys)
- Cloud Data Platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks)
- Financial Services / Commercial Lending Domain
Benefits
