A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Junior Procurement Professional, you will join a collaborative and fast-paced procurement team supporting manufacturing, operations, engineering, and business stakeholders. You will help manage the sourcing and purchasing of materials, services, and equipment while gaining exposure to supplier management, contract administration, cost analysis, and supply chain processes.
In this role, you will work closely with experienced procurement professionals, learn procurement best practices, utilize procurement and ERP systems, and contribute to projects that improve operational efficiency, supplier performance, and cost competitiveness.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, requests for quotation, purchase order creation, and supplier follow-up.
- Assist in evaluating supplier quotations and preparing commercial comparisons.
- Monitor order status and coordinate with suppliers to support on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, finance, and operations teams to understand procurement requirements.
- Help maintain supplier records, contracts, and procurement documentation.
- Support cost-saving initiatives through data analysis and market research.
- Assist with supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement activities.
- Follow company policies, procurement procedures, and contractual requirements.
- Participate in digitalization and process improvement projects.
- Prepare reports, key performance indicators, and procurement analytics to support decision-making.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Zero to three years of experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, operations, or a related business function.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated teamwork and a customer-focused mindset.
- Valid Visa and Passport
- Internship or co-op experience in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or operations.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or other purchasing platforms.
- Exposure to supplier management, contract administration, or spend analysis.
- Interest in digital tools, automation, and data analytics.
