Job Description:
Join our dynamic team and play a key role in one of our most strategic transformation initiatives!
We are seeking a Master Data Management Lead to drive data readiness, quality, and process alignment during the migration from a legacy ERP to SAP S/4HANA. This role extends beyond traditional data governance, focusing on data integrity, business process alignment, and end-to-end supply chain readiness.
You will serve as a bridge between business, IT, and plant teams, ensuring master data is properly prepared, understood, and successfully migrated into SAP S/4HANA.
-
Lead master data preparation and readiness activities for the migration from legacy ERPs to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
-
Define, propose, and deploy optimized master data workflows aligned with SAP S/4HANA processes and standards.
-
Collaborate closely with Plant Product Master Data Owners (PMDMs), enabling adoption of new ways of working without owning transactional master data maintenance.
-
Lead and align Power Users across functions to develop a solid and integrated understanding of both the legacy ERP and SAP S/4HANA.
-
Perform end-to-end process and data mapping, documenting master data flows across the entire supply chain and identifying risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
-
Establish and monitor data quality rules, KPIs, and validation controls, with a strong focus on migration and post-go-live stability.
-
Support system testing, mock migrations, and data validation cycles, identifying root causes of data issues and driving corrective actions.
-
Drive standardization and continuous improvement initiatives for master data processes across plants and regions.
-
Deliver training, guidance, and change enablement to ensure business readiness for SAP S/4HANA.
-
5+ years of experience in master data management, data governance, or ERP-related roles.
-
Demonstrated experience in ERP implementations or migrations, preferably involving SAP S/4HANA.
-
Hands-on experience with SAP modules related to master data (e.g., MM, SD, PP, MDG).
-
Solid experience working with legacy ERP systems and understanding migration challenges.
-
Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational databases for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
-
Strong background in data quality management, data governance frameworks, and data integration concepts.
-
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and Power Users without direct authority.
-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to complex data issues.
-
Fluent English (C1 level), with the ability to communicate effectively in global and cross-functional environments.
(External) English Qualifications:
-
Opportunity to own and lead a critical data stream within a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation.
-
High-visibility role with direct impact on enterprise-wide data quality and business processes.
-
Collaboration with global, cross-functional teams in a transformation-driven environment.
-
Exposure to modern ERP architectures, data models, and governance practices.
-
A role combining strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and leadership influence, with strong growth potential.
