About Zenit Corp
Zenit Corp is a fast growing ecommerce group that owns and operates multiple dtc brands across different markets.
We are building a portfolio of high potential ecommerce brands with strong fundamentals, scalable systems, and ambitious long term growth plans. Our goal is not to build a single online store, but to create a multi brand ecommerce group capable of reaching significant scale across different verticals.
The company is currently in a high growth stage and is projected to reach 8 figures in annual revenue this year. This creates a unique opportunity for people joining now to take ownership, grow with the company, and become part of the leadership team that will shape the next stage of the group.
We are looking for people who want more than a job. We are looking for builders, leaders, and operators who want to help scale a company with real ambition.
The person joining as General Manager will be responsible for leading one of the group’s businesses as a business unit, turning the CEO’s vision and company goals into clear priorities, aligned departments, disciplined execution, and measurable progress.
For the right person, this role has a clear path toward becoming a senior executive leader within a multi brand ecommerce group. As Zenit Corp grows, launches new brands, and expands its portfolio, the scope of responsibility and compensation potential can grow significantly.
This is an opportunity to join early, take ownership, create impact, and help build the management foundation of a group with ambitious long term goals.
Role:
The General Manager is responsible for leading the company as a business unit and ensuring that the CEO’s vision, annual revenue targets, profitability goals, and strategic priorities are translated into clear company wide direction.
This role is not focused on managing the daily operational machine. The General Manager is responsible for company level planning, alignment, prioritization, accountability, decision making rhythm, and performance follow up across departments.
The General Manager acts as the link between the CEO and the leadership team, ensuring every department understands what must be achieved, why it matters, when it must happen, and who is accountable for each result.
This person is responsible for making sure the business moves in the right direction with clarity, discipline, focus, and financial responsibility.
General Manager Responsibilities:
❖ Company Direction & Goal Translation
➢ Translate the company’s annual objectives into quarterly, monthly, and weekly business priorities.
➢ Break down company level goals into clear targets for each department.
➢ Define, together with each area leader, what each department must achieve to contribute to the company’s global objectives.
➢ Ensure every major company objective has clear milestones, owners, deadlines, and measurable outcomes.
➢ Maintain visibility over the company’s main priorities and ensure leadership focus remains aligned with the business plan.
❖ Business Alignment
➢ Align all departments with the company’s vision, priorities, growth targets, and profitability goals.
➢ Ensure marketing, operations, administration, finance, and technology are working toward the same business objectives.
➢ Prevent departments from operating in isolation or pursuing priorities that conflict with the company’s direction.
➢ Create clarity across the leadership team regarding what matters most at each stage of growth.
➢ Ensure company decisions remain aligned with revenue, profitability, cash flow, customer experience, and long term growth.
❖ Management Rhythm & Accountability
➢ Lead the company’s management rhythm across weekly, monthly, and quarterly cycles.
➢ Ensure each department leader has clear objectives, priorities, deadlines, and expected outcomes.
➢ Track progress against company goals and identify deviations early.
➢ Require corrective plans from department leaders when results, timelines, or priorities go off track.
➢ Maintain accountability across the leadership team without getting involved in the daily execution of each department.
❖ Cross Department Leadership
➢ Coordinate department leaders to ensure the company’s main initiatives are moving in the right direction.
➢ Resolve priority conflicts between departments at management level.
➢ Ensure decisions made in one department are understood by the other departments when they affect company performance.
➢ Facilitate alignment between marketing, operations, administration, finance, and technology.
➢ Make sure the company operates as one aligned business, not as disconnected teams.
❖ Forward Planning & Business Anticipation
➢ Anticipate company needs, risks, resource gaps, and strategic constraints at least 2 to 3 months in advance.
➢ Identify upcoming challenges that may affect growth, profitability, execution speed, team capacity, or financial performance.
➢ Prepare leadership discussions and decisions before problems become urgent.
➢ Ensure the company is prepared from a planning, leadership, financial, and strategic perspective for launches, high demand periods, commercial peaks, and growth phases.
➢ Maintain a forward looking view of the business rather than only reacting to current issues.
❖ Marketing, Profitability & Strategic Direction
➢ Coordinate with the CMO to ensure marketing plans are aligned with company priorities, margin targets, stock availability, financial goals, and strategic direction.
➢ Ensure growth initiatives are evaluated not only by revenue potential, but also by profitability, timing, risk, and business readiness.
➢ Help align commercial ambition with the broader business plan.
➢ Ensure major marketing initiatives are connected to the company’s financial and strategic objectives.
➢ Challenge initiatives that create growth without enough margin, clarity, structure, or business justification.
❖ Organizational & Structural Improvement
➢ Identify structural, organizational, or management level issues that limit company growth.
➢ Propose improvements to responsibilities, decision making, communication, reporting, leadership structure, or company rhythm.
➢ Detect recurring problems that indicate deeper management or organizational gaps.
➢ Work with the CEO and department leaders to improve how the company is led and managed as it scales.
➢ Ensure the company’s structure evolves with its growth stage.
❖ CEO Reporting & Decision Support
➢ Keep the CEO informed of company progress, risks, blockers, and important decisions.
➢ Provide structured updates on company performance, department progress, and key priorities.
➢ Bring clear recommendations when decisions are required.
➢ Escalate relevant strategic or management issues without involving the CEO in unnecessary daily follow up.
➢ Act as a trusted leadership partner to help the CEO keep the company focused, aligned, and moving forward.
