As a Technical Group Leader, reporting to the Applications Manager, you will manage implementation of Creation & Application technical strategy and support knowledge sharing among all functions to drive organisation's effectiveness, according to business goals and within budget.
You will be based in our corporate office located in San Angel, working four days onsite and one from home a week
In this exciting role, your main responsibilities will be

Manage the performance of a the technical team (4 people) to execute the technical goals to meet the goals

Be the main technical contact at selected main accounts to develop relationships at the customer to better execute at all levels of project requirements and leading customer visits and product presentations at the customer.

Be a technical expert and advisor to marketing, sales, flavour creation, application, sensory and customers for multiple applications and creations

Provide direction from the local applications and creation standpoint to develop S+T strategies

Participate as a local champion for new technologies.

Manage the lab/pilot plant equipment needs within the capital budget.

Take responsibility to build a diverse and inclusive environment and leverages differences in styles, thinking and approaches

Control segment budget to comply with company policies and ensure lab functionality regarding execution.

Lead Integrated Solution projects for the segment, working with customers, creation and quality teams, to ensure feasibility and implementation.
You?
Your professional profile includes
-
Polytechnic or Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related area
-
8+ years of experience in a food applications lab, flavourist lab, production or related area.

Experience working with Beverages applications.
-
Project management skills.
-
Experience managing a technical team.
-
Experience presenting a broad variety of innovative technical initiatives within Givaudan and to customers

English language proficiency.
