Role Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a specialist in architectural drafting, focusing on creating detailed construction documents for hospitality and residential projects in the US. Your expertise in Revit and knowledge of the US permitting process will play a crucial role in our project's success from conception through to completion.
Duties:
- Develop detailed technical drawings and plans for hospitality, workplace, and residential projects using Revit, based on initial sketches, specifications, and other input.
- Produce both 2D drawings and 3D models in Revit, adhering strictly to industry standards and project requirements.
- Engage in collaborative reviews with project teams to ensure design specifications are met and to integrate changes as necessary.
- Manage and organize all project documentation effectively, maintaining a high standard of precision and accuracy.
- Navigate the permitting process, adeptly handling city comments and code compliance to ensure project approvals.
Skills Required:
- Advanced proficiency in Revit Architecture; this role focuses on architectural drafting and does not require knowledge in Revit MEP.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in drafting for the US market, specifically with construction documents for either hospitality, workplace or residential projects.
- In-depth understanding of building codes, regulations, and the permitting process in the US, with proven experience in addressing and resolving city comments to meet code requirements.
- Exceptional drafting skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English required.
