Quality Specialist (QPP OtD) III – Supplier Quality Specialist
Ubicación: Amexhe, Guanajuato
Role Objective
Ensure the quality of purchased parts in serial production by managing supplier complaints, audits, escalation processes, and continuous improvement activities, guaranteeing compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
️ Key Responsibilities

Manage supplier quality complaints according to established procedures.

Coordinate rework and sorting activities with suppliers and internal departments, including potential cost communication.

Manage non‑conforming material (physically and in SAP), including intercompany parts.

Escalate critical quality risks and lead corrective action plans.

Consolidate Cost of Non‑Quality (CoNQ) and negotiate NQE chargebacks.

Review, evaluate, and follow up 8D reports.

Plan and perform supplier audits (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / VDA 6.3).
-
Release ISIR / PPAP documentation.

Lead supplier development and improvement programs.

Train suppliers in problem‑solving methodologies.

Lead improvement initiatives related to On‑Time Delivery (OtD).
-
Support supplier transfers, outsourcing, and serial production activities.
-
Coordinate or supervise quality‑related personnel when applicable.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electronic Engineering, or related field.

2–3 years in Supplier Quality / Quality Assurance within automotive manufacturing.

Fluent conversational English – Intermediate to Advanced.

Previous experience with Microsoft Office package, SAP, and Minitab.

Desirable: Internal Auditor ISO 9001:2015; Internal Auditor IATF 16949; Internal Auditor VDA 6.3.
