POSITION SUMMARY
Omron is looking for an energetic and focused Pricing Specialist in Guadalajara, Mexico, to execute tasks associated with maintaining and optimizing data necessary to support sales and distribution special pricing programs. The responsibilities and tasks will support Omron's sales initiatives across the Americas while directly reporting to the Special Pricing Supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for administering the Special Price Request program offered to Omron customers and distributors. Some approval levels are within Pricing Specialist authority level; others require management review.
- Support Omron sales personnel and other stakeholders in matters related to pricing generally
- Perform sales data and integrity analysis using such tools as Salesforce, JDE, Excel, and Power BI.
- Conform to Special Pricing Approval Policies – focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide analysis and operational support for complex national pricing agreements (NPAs).
- Provide a commitment to excellent internal & external customer service.
- Represent Omron in a professional, ethical, and socially responsible manner.
- Represents the Omron Guiding Principles through personal and business interactions with employees, customers, distributors, and colleagues.
- Provide training to external or internal customers, as needed
- Recommend policy or process improvements that support excellent customer service and impact quality and performance standards.
- Data entry in various platforms.
- Maintain performance and quality standards based on established department metrics including turn-around times.
- Work on or lead special projects as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFCATIONS:
- Education: Associate's degree or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in supporting sales, distributor and accounting functions.
Direct customer interaction (B2B preferred).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES -
- Technical Abilities: Advanced knowledge of and experience with Office (Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, advanced filtering) required. Experience with JD Edwards, Salesforce and Power BI preferred. Working knowledge of case management platforms preferred (ie. Freshdesk, Oracle Cloud).
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written English and Spanish required (min B2 written and spoken, higher preferred) French is an asset). Strong interpersonal, listening, questioning and communication skills (written and spoken). Ability to multi-task and effectively work cross-functionally in a fast paced environment. Demonstrate self-discipline, ownership, complex problem solving, time management and collaborate virtually. Energetic, analytical, methodical, focused and a highly motivated self-starter. Strong relationship builder and a personal desire to win. Team player, but able to work independently as required.
- Knowledge: Basic Omron product knowledge a plus. knowledge of Omron upstream and downstream processes
