Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for working closely with the leadership team to plan, coordinate, and deliver new projects related to equipment and product implementation—ensuring alignment with stakeholders’ requirements, timelines, scope, and cost objectives. The role includes leading cross-functional project execution from requirements definition through deployment, prototype builds, validation, production readiness, and launch. The Project Manager also ensures compliance with automotive quality standards and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Assign and monitor resources to ensure efficient project execution and maximize deliverables.
Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, establishing schedules, scope, budget estimates, and implementation plans (including risk mitigation).
Report project outcomes, progress, and/or risks to the appropriate management channels; escalate issues as needed according to the project work plan.
Develop and guide the project team to ensure maximum performance through direction, purpose, and motivation.
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, providing day-to-day updates on status, decisions, and changes.
Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and external researchers.
Lead automotive projects from concept through production launch.
Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans, and track milestones, risks, and deliverables.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Procurement.
Manage communication with OEMs, suppliers, and internal/external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with automotive standards and regulations.
Oversee prototype builds, testing, validation, and production readiness activities.
Monitor project costs and implement corrective actions when needed to meet financial targets.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Proven project management experience (3–4 years preferred).
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including proficiency in Microsoft Project.
Result-driven mindset with a strong focus on cost reduction.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Leadership skills with the ability to drive teams and outcomes.
Excellent communication skills (clear, structured, stakeholder-focused).
Strong understanding of automotive quality and development frameworks, including: APQP, PPAP, IATF 16949, Lean manufacturing
