Responsible for providing day-to-day project and product support for marketed
products. Assists in developing and adding new products to be marketed.

Works with product management to understand product changes and upcoming product launches and to communicate information to the region.
- Serves as the first line of communication on all product issues, quality
questions, and product returns.
- Supports the region in resolving product issues/problems.
- Assists in product launches and gathering information for the product
development process.
- Works with marketing services and regional offices to create locally tailored product brochures.
- Provides presentations on products, service training, and other topics as required.
- Provides weekly updated reports to management on the progress of projects
- Works with global product management to assist with the development of products to be used in the region and generally takes responsibility for establishing the products needed in that region.
- Works with managers to add new products into JDE for sales in their region.
- Takes the lead on new products developed for the region while coordinating with global product management.
- Regularly interacts with product managers to accomplish tasks required by the region.
- Often is responsible for marketing and product development interests of the region.
- Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
Scholarship:
- Equivalent of four years high school (required).
- Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics)
- Associate’s degree in design technology or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
- One to three years of experience in product development, product management,
or a related field (preferred)
- Experience with the use of VFD’s, PLCs and motor control devices
- Experience with pump systems and hydraulics
Skills:
- Mastery: Spreadsheet.
- Advanced: Presentation/PowerPoint, word processing/typing.
- Basic: Contact management, database.
- Effectively communicates information and responds to questions in person-toperson and small group situations with customers, clients, the general public, and other employees of the organization.
- Maintains confidentiality and uses discretion with business information.
- Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating
and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Writes routine reports and correspondence.
- Adds, subtracts, multiplies, and divides numbers (using currency and other forms of
measurement).
- Utilizes common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed
instructions.
- Deals with problems involving several known variables in situations of routine nature.
- Plans the time, method, manner, and/or performance sequence of own work; may
also occasionally assist in planning work assignments performed by others within a limited area of operation.
- Frequently makes decisions of both minor and major importance, which may affect
the work operations of other employees and/or clientele to a moderate degree.
- Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.
- Uses noncomplex machines and equipment (adding machines, calculators, copy/fax machines, etc.).
Initial Formation: One to three years of experience in product development, product
