About the Position:
Manage the administration and control of resources to ensure compliance with safety regulations, the production plan, and customer satisfaction in terms of quality, quantity, and required delivery time.
Your Responsibilities will be:
Ensure the production plan is achieved in the required quality, quantity, and timing.
Ensure processes meet their established productivity standards.
Monitor shift performance and report accurate information at the end of each shift (OEE, Downtime, Schedule vs. Production, FTQ, Kaizens, TAGs, etc.).Verify that Team Leaders monitor and correctly apply work instructions within their areas.
Plan workforce staffing levels.Ensure that all required machinery and equipment checklists and records are completed.Verify that production, scrap, FTQ, Kaizen, declarations, and other related forms are completed accurately.
Supervise production boards and stock status to identify potential issues.
Follow up on the fixed-lot Kanban production system and make production decisions based on customer consumption.Coordinate the execution of continuous improvement activities.
Evaluate the root causes of scrap and work with teams to implement corrective actions.
Develop action plans together with teams to improve the area and ensure manufactured parts meet the required quality standards.
Participate in personnel development, training, coaching, certification, and performance evaluations of direct reports.
Ensure personnel comply with safety rules and properly wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Ensure compliance with QMS, EMS, and OH&S regulations regarding the proper use of PPE, the safe management of chemicals, and integrated waste management.Identify and address internal nonconformities within the area.
Identify and document potential causes of nonconformities.Audit each Team Leader once per week on Standardized Work.Manage team communication and information flow: TOP 5 meetings, Team Leader meetings, information-sharing meetings, and rapid cascading of key information from management levels.
Ensure that transferred tasks are performed correctly by trained personnel.
Ensure proper onboarding and training of new operators on the production line through evaluations.
Report equipment failures within the area to the Maintenance Department.Perform other duties as assigned.
What Qualifications you will bring:
Education Level:
Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or related field.
Language:
English (optional)
Experience:
3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
3 years in a similar position.
2 years of experience in production processes, including production schedule compliance, line balancing, and lean manufacturing.
Other skills that we would welcome:
Knowledge of ISO/IATF management systems.
Availability to work rotating shifts.
