British American Tobacco México has an exciting opportunity for a Data & Analytics Intern in Monterrey
Your key responsibilities will include:

Support the Data Science and Data Engineering teams in daily operational and analytical tasks.
- Assist in data preparation, transformation, and ETL-related activities.
- Work with tools and technologies such as Python, SQL, Microsoft Fabric, Excel, and Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data-driven initiatives.
- Independently manage and develop a data-focused project under the guidance of the team’s Data Scientist.
What are we looking for?

Currently enrolled in a degree related to Programming, Mechatronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar fields. Graduation date: December 2027 or later and availability to work 30 hours per week.

Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).

Strong coding skills in Python and familiarity with data analysis and visualization concepts.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of tools and libraries such as Pandas, ETL processes, and data visualization techniques.

Strong analytical and organizational skills, combined with a proactive attitude, leadership potential, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
