Your Team Responsibilities:
The team is responsible for Third Party Data Compliance within MSCI
- Compliant with its third-party content license agreements

Reports correctly to third party content vendors pursuant to our contractual obligations

Obtains any required pre-approvals before data is released to clients in MSCI’s suite of products
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Market data entitlement tracking and validation for clients and products
-
Vendor compliance reporting initiatives, including reporting for providers such as LSEG
-
Monitoring and triaging requests received through AskData and shared support mailboxes

Supporting GSS subscription change reviews and operational follow-up activities
-
Assisting with process improvement initiatives, control documentation, and workflow standardization efforts

Manage subscription services taken by MSCI especially the renewal of such subscription services
Your skills and experience that will help you excel:
The ideal intern candidate would have a combination of analytical, organizational, and communication skills that would enable them to effectively support the operational and compliance activities of the GSS Market Data Compliance team.
Preferred skills and experience include:

Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large datasets and reports

Analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly when validating data or identifying discrepancies

Experience working with Excel and familiarity with data tools such as Salesforce, SQL, or reporting platforms is a plus

Familiarity with AI productivity tools and the ability to leverage AI-assisted solutions to improve efficiency, documentation, and data analysis tasks

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
-
Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with team members and responding to operational requests

Interest in process improvement, operational efficiency, and compliance-related work

Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems, workflows, and vendor requirements quickly
