Job Description:
What will you do?
As a Project Controlling Intern, you will support financial and operational processes related to project execution across South America. You will work closely with Project Controllers, Finance teams, and stakeholders to support month-end closing activities, reporting, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting monthly financial closing activities and reporting processes- Preparing and analyzing project-related financial data
- Maintaining and improving operational tracking files and dashboards
- Supporting backlog, revenue recognition, and project performance reporting
- Assisting with data extraction and analysis from SAP and other reporting tools
- Identifying opportunities for process standardization and automation
- Collaborating with regional stakeholders across multiple South American countries
This role offers hands-on exposure to project finance, business operations, and continuous improvement initiatives within a global organization.

Who will you report to?
This role reports to the SAM Project Controlling Team within the South America Finance CoCe organization.
You will work closely with Project Controllers, Finance Business Partners, Project Managers, and regional stakeholders across South America. This is an individual contributor role with high visibility and exposure to cross-functional teams, offering an excellent opportunity to develop both technical and business acumen.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related fields- Graduation date aligned with Schneider Electric internship requirements
- Intermediate English level (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with data analysis is a plus
- Knowledge of SAP, Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools is a plus, but not required
- Interest in finance, business operations, and process improvement
