The Planner is responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring the continuous flow of materials and finished goods to support production and customer demand. This role acts as the main supply chain point of contact for assigned key accounts, ensuring demand alignment, supply availability, on-time delivery, and proactive communication with customers and internal stakeholders.

The Planner shall:
- Develop and execute short-, mid-, and long-term supply plans based on demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory targets defined by the planning strategy.
- Monitor On-Time Delivery (OTD) and service performance for assigned customer accounts.
- Continuously review planning outputs and adjust supply plans based on operational changes such as production constraints, material availability, or customer priority changes.
- Maintain planning parameters including lead times, lot sizes, and capacity constraints to ensure accurate planning execution.
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure alignment with the current production plan and material availability.
- Key Account Management
- Act as the operational Supply Chain contact for assigned key customers regarding order status, supply availability, and shipment planning.
- Ensure alignment between customer demand requirements and internal production and supply plans.
- Communicate order status, delivery commitments, potential risks, and recovery plans in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate internally with Production, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure the feasibility of customer requirements.
- Communicate confirmed delivery dates, potential delays, or supply risks to internal stakeholders and customer service representatives.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Communicate customer demand requirements and coordinate purchase orders with internal business teams.
- Coordinate finished goods shipments to customers in alignment with delivery commitments and logistics plans.
- Systems, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Create and maintain Sales Orders (SO) in SAP based on customer purchase orders or demand requirements.
- Generate and release Work Orders (WO) according to the approved production plan and material availability.
- Review order parameters including quantities, due dates, and production priorities prior to releasing work orders.
- Support RMA processes and supply-related quality issues in coordination with the Quality team.
Academic Background
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Work Experience
- 3+ years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, production planning, or similar supply chain roles.
- Experience managing supply planning activities for key accounts or customer-facing supply chain roles is highly desirable.
- Exposure to S&OP / Supply Review processes and cross-functional planning environments is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, forecasting models, and KPI reporting).
- Experience using SAP ERP systems, particularly in planning-related modules (MM, PP, SD) and MRP execution.
- Ability to analyze demand forecasts and translate them into supply and production plans.
- Solid understanding of supply chain planning concepts, including capacity planning, inventory positioning, lead times, and service level management.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in customer-facing environments.
- Ability to translate complex planning data into clear, actionable insights for internal teams and key customers.
