Zero Incident Workplace Culture . The ability to integrate technical skill sets required to identify and eliminate hazards associated with a manufacturing process and its supporting elements. Knowledge and experience in the process value stream, specifications, equipment, cycle time and capabilities. Competencies considered include, electrical circuit design, programmable controllers, safety interlock circuitry, lock out tag out, isolation of potential energy, ergonomics and material handling methods and procedures. Experience and knowledge with Hazardous Materials and Workplace Exposure including chemical use and storage, gases, noises, dust, fumes, vapors, and ventilation considerations. Engagement in efforts to influence 100% ownership of safety, accountability, and the sharing of knowledge to a continued focus of creating a zero incident workplace. Know how their activities and influence areas impact on the development and performance of the ISO14001 and OSHAS 18801 system.
Analytical/ Statistical Tools & Methods. The Knowledge of a wide range of problem solving tools and methods, including statistics, combined with the ability to select and apply them to make data based decisions to sustain higher levels of process or product quality.
External Requirements. The competency of knowledge, practice and application of the Product/ Process and Quality System standards of the International Certification Bodies, Industry specific Regulatory Authorities and Customers contractually specified Quality Requirements.
Product/ Process Quality Planning. The ability to strategically define the Critical to Quality elements of a product/process, and the knowledge to effectively analyze, assess and mitigate the risks associated with any potential failures.
Quality Leadership. The knowledge of quality management systems and support practices. This competency includes the ability to efficiently and effectively assess performance, set strategy aligned with the business and use metrics to drive continuous improvements.
