A snapshot of your day
We are seeking an experienced R&D Mechanical Engineer to join our team, focusing on the design and development of high-voltage circuit-breakers. This role is responsible for the entire mechanical design lifecycle, from initial concept and prototyping through to series production. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical design principles, production processes, and quality control within the electrical equipment industry. The engineer will be accountable for delivering innovative and optimized mechanical designs for complex modules and parts, ensuring they meet functional, cost, and timeline requirements. Key responsibilities include creating detailed designs using CAD software, planning and executing qualification tests for high-voltage components, and analyzing test results to ensure product integrity. This position involves close collaboration with global quality, manufacturing, and project management teams to resolve development challenges and support the launch of new products. Success in this role requires at least three years of experience in product development, proficiency with ProE/Creo and PLM software, and a solid understanding of high-voltage products. The candidate must be a proactive problem-solver capable of working autonomously while also functioning as a key member of a collaborative, cross-functional team. Strong communication skills and professional proficiency in English are essential for supporting global production and project alignment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
