About the Role & Team
The Intern will be part of a team responsible for developing market data collection, data research. This will be done by developing models based on historical information that is then verified through telephone interviews and secondary sources. The activities are highly quantitative in nature and requires someone who is looking to further develop their expertise in market sizing and forecasting. We are looking for individuals who are team players and want a professional experience that will give them knowledge of the IT industry.
What You’ll Do

Primary research: Identify contacts, Schedule interviews, Participate in the interviews with the analyst, Price Collection and others

Perform secondary research: Analyst reports, News (Clipping), Financial reports

Support the lead analyst with modeled tracker data for market players: Leveraging all the desk research available.

Learn the basic tools for the research process: Ferda, KMLA, databases, flat files
- Support the analyst developing charts, figures, research presentations and quantitative models, work with regional teams.
What You Bring

Accounting, Administration, Social Sciences, Mathematics, Engineering (Industrial or Systems with Admin) or Economics background, students in their last 18 months.

Be a confident PowerPoint and Excel user to maintain and upgrade Excel-based tools that support various stages of the research.
- Be able to work independently as well as a team member with other analysts

Organizational skills to meet research objectives on tight deadlines
