ETL Data Test Lead + QA

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ETL Data Test Lead + QA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Data Testing, ETL Validation, Data Quality Assurance, and Test Leadership. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data across ETL processes, data warehouses, and reporting systems.
The candidate will work closely with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders to define testing strategies, execute test plans, identify defects, and drive quality improvements throughout the data lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end ETL and Data Testing activities.
- Design and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for data integration projects.
- Validate ETL processes, data transformations, and data migrations.
- Perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with development and business teams to understand data requirements.
- Support SIT, UAT, Regression, and Production Validation efforts.
- Create testing documentation, metrics, and status reports.
- Mentor QA team members and promote testing best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in ETL Testing, Data Testing, or QA.
- Experience leading testing activities for data integration projects.
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data validation techniques.
- Experience with SQL and database testing.
- Experience validating large datasets across multiple sources.
- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, DataStage, SSIS, or similar.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Test automation experience within data environments.
- Exposure to BI and reporting platforms.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per month
