We are on the lookout for a Lead Instructional Designer to join our team.
Our Workforce Experience team assists clients in advancing digital and IT transformation by identifying and addressing gaps in employee knowledge, behaviors, and mindset. We conceive, produce, and deploy a wide variety of solutions for both online and in-person learning, including videos, articles, podcasts, interactive eLearning, coaching, experiential learning, instructor-led training, and assessments, all informed by the latest research in the learning sciences. In short, we go beyond "training" to craft learning experiences that truly make an impact.
Responsibilities

Team up with Subject Matter Experts to identify the learning and enablement needs of the intended audiences

Establish learning objectives that align with learner traits and program goals

Review, refresh, or build content that clearly supports learning objectives and preferred delivery formats

Shape compelling learning activities that reinforce and enrich the overall learning journey

Produce storyboards and work hand in hand with multimedia developers to bring concepts to life as engaging instructional materials

Picture the instructional graphics, user interfaces, and complete product experiences before production begins

Craft assessment methods to measure the impact of individual elements, modules, or full courses
-
Maintain well-structured project documentation and course folders across the entire delivery cycle

Engage regularly with SMEs and colleagues in a courteous and professional way
-
Embed adult learning principles and instructional design best practices into every task

Build strong ties with internal teams to make the most of available tools and shared resources
Requirements
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, or a related area
-
A minimum of 5 years of applied professional experience in instructional design
-
At least 1 year in a people management or team leadership role, overseeing a team of 5 or more FTEs
-
Hands-on background with authoring tools such as Captivate, Articulate Storyline and RISE, or Evolve for producing sophisticated adaptive learning content

Working knowledge of instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE, SAM, backward design, e-learning blueprint, design thinking, and interactive learning experiences

Firm understanding of adult learning theory alongside multimedia design fundamentals

Keen sense for visual design and layout composition

Ease working in a dynamic and quickly changing environment

Confident English communication abilities at B2 level or above, in both writing and speech, along with attentive listening and clear expression

Enthusiasm, motivation, an upbeat outlook, and a "can-do" attitude when tackling challenges

Skill to handle several projects at once, set priorities well, work independently, and meet tight deadlines

Proven record of being reliable, quick to respond, and client-focused across every engagement

Ability to build rapport and cultivate trust and confidence with clients and coworkers alike

Flexible thinking and agile approach to deliverables, with the capability to adjust style for varied stakeholder groups

Resilience and the ability to remain effective under time pressure while balancing workload and priorities

Strong capabilities in multimedia development and graphic design to elevate the quality of learning materials

Experience creating AI-driven learning and enablement solutions or AI-powered agents

Understanding of content compliance requirements linked to usability standards, Section 508, and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
