The Food Execution Team at DiDi is looking for a high-performing Intern Analyst to help drive sustainable growth and operational health for our top restaurants across Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Peru. In this role, you won't just execute strategies—you will help reshape how we work.
We are looking for a tech-savvy, strategic thinker who can leverage Python, automation, and AI integrations to optimize our day-to-day operations, support our field agents, and deliver top-tier market experiences for our clients. Insight Generation: Extract, manipulate, and analyze complex datasets to deliver actionable business insights and influence team decision-making.
KPI Management: Monitor, report, and maintain daily business KPIs, designing dashboards that track the operational health of our top regional restaurants.
Strategic Collaboration: Act as the analytical bridge to the Strategy Team, translating high-level goals into tactical, data-driven execution plans.
Experimentation: Constantly generate operational knowledge and validate process improvements through structured A/B testing.
Process Automation: Use Python to automate repetitive manual workflows, streamline data pipelines, and improve the efficiency of our support agents.
AI Solutions: Identify opportunities to integrate AI tools and frameworks into current processes to scale impact, improve response times, and optimize process standardization.
Process Engineering: Carry out root-cause analysis on operational bottlenecks and propose automated solutions to mitigate them.
Role Responsibilities:
End-to-End Operational Ownership: Plan, analyze, and execute key operational activities, taking responsibility for the entire lifecycle of strategic initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and the Sales Team to align daily operational execution with high-level commercial goals.
Process Optimization: Carry out root-cause analysis on operational challenges, designing data-backed solutions to improve process efficiency and standardize team KPIs.
Insight Generation: Extract and interpret complex business data to deliver actionable insights, uncover growth opportunities, and directly influence team decision-making.
Strategic Proposals: Formulate and pitch high-level, data-driven proposals aimed at scaling business impact and driving sustainable growth.
Workflow Automation: Utilize Python and SQL to build automated reporting frameworks, streamline manual workflows, and optimize data pipelines.
AI Integration: Identify, test, and propose opportunities to integrate AI tools and models to enhance operational efficiency and future-proof current processes.
Role Qualifications:
Academic Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
Advanced Analytics & Scripting: Strong proficiency in Python (for data analysis and automation) and SQL (for data extraction). Familiarity with Claude Code CLI and R is a plus.
Core Tools: Advanced knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets (advanced formulas, pivot tables, complex data manipulation).
AI-Assisted Automation: Hands-on familiarity with Claude Code CLI or modern AI coding tools. You know how to use AI assistants through the command line to help write, debug, and automate Python scripts and basic data pipelines, moving beyond basic ChatGPT prompt engineering.
Mindset:
A strict KPI-driven and strategic mindset with a passion for problem-solving.
Highly self-motivated, proactive, and possesses a strong "owner attitude" to take challenges from ideation to execution.
Language Skills: Professional fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken) to effectively collaborate with our international team.
