The Data and Analytics Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving data visibility, reporting tools, dashboards, and analytical models that support decision-making across the Supply Chain Organization.

This role provides actionable insights related to supply chain performance, inventory, customer delivery, production execution, purchasing, logistics, capacity, demand, and operational KPIs. The position requires strong technical skills, business understanding, data accuracy discipline, and the ability to translate complex data into clear operational recommendations.
What You Will Do
- Develop, maintain, and improve dashboards, reports, scorecards, and analytical tools for Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Purchasing, Planning, and Customer Service.
- Consolidate data from ERP, MRP, customer portals, internal files, production systems, and other business sources.
- Analyze trends related to demand, supply, inventory, OTD, shortages, aging material, S&E, premium freight, capacity, supplier performance, and customer service metrics.
- Create automated reporting solutions to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and accelerate decision-making.
- Support root cause analysis by transforming raw data into clear insights, trends, risk indicators, and action plans.
- Partner with functional leaders to define KPI logic, data sources, reporting cadence, and business rules.
- Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency between reports, ERP information, and operational processes.
- Build visual management tools for daily, weekly, and monthly business reviews.
- Support scenario analysis, what-if models, forecast analysis, inventory projections, and supply risk visibility.
- Identify process gaps, data integrity issues, and opportunities for automation or system improvement.
- Document reporting logic, standard work, data definitions, and governance practices.
- Support continuous improvement, digital transformation, and operational excellence initiatives.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Statistics, or related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, supply chain analytics, operations analytics, or manufacturing reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Experience with, AI, Power BI, Power Query, SQL, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
- Ability to work with large datasets and transform data into business insights.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- English proficiency required.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience in automotive, electronics, manufacturing, supply chain, or maquiladora environments.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems; SAP experience preferred.
- Experience with Power Automate, Python, VBA, Alteryx, or data automation tools.
- Understanding of supply chain KPIs including OTD, inventory turns, shortages, aging, supplier OTD, forecast accuracy, and premium freight.
- Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience preferred.
- Certitication in AI.
