This position works on-site in Mexico City
Position Summary:The Senior Manager HR System Design is a strategic product leader responsible for the end-to-end ownership of our HR technology products including SAP SuccessFactors and custom system applications This role operates at the intersection of business strategy product management and technology delivery ensuring solutions are aligned to enterprise priorities scalable and deliver measurable business valueThis leader executes against the organizations product vision governs the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and drives execution across complex cross-functional environments They serve as the primary bridge between HR IT and business stakeholders translating strategic objectives into actionable product roadmaps and high-quality system outcomes
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Reporting to the Director HR System Design this role is responsible for overseeing designated products within the HR ecosystem and leading the execution of associated Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) initiatives
Product Support & ExecutionSupport and Execute against the product vision strategy and roadmap for HR platforms (eg SAP SuccessFactors case management custom applications)Align product direction with enterprise workforce strategy HR transformation goals and business prioritiesAct as the voice of the customer and business ensuring solutions meet user needs and deliver measurable outcomesAnalyze industry trends and emerging HR technology capabilities to inform product evolutionManage system enhancements integrations releases and ongoing platform optimizationDrive data integrity process standardization and system usability across the HR verticalStrong Configuration Capability in the core applications
Backlog & Agile Product ManagementPerform In-take and manage the product backlog ensuring clear communication and prioritization based on business value risk and urgencyTranslate business needs into user stories requirements and technical specificationsEnsure consistent delivery cadence while balancing competing priorities across multiple products and stakeholders
SDLC Governance & Delivery ExecutionEnforce SDLC governance standards and controls across all product initiativesOversee end-to-end delivery including requirement gather design build test deploy and sustainmentDefine test strategy scenarios and acceptance criteria to ensure quality and scalabilityPartner with engineering and architecture teams to ensure solutions are technically sound and future-ready
Stakeholder Engagement & Change LeadershipBuild strong partnerships with HR COEs business leaders and IT stakeholdersLead cross-functional alignment across product engineering operations and vendorsTranslate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for executive stakeholdersDefine and execute change management and communication strategies to enable adoptionDevelop job aids / training materials to provide guidance on new enhancements to the HR Applications
Program & Risk ManagementDevelop and manage integrated product and program plans across multiple initiativesIdentify manage and escalate risks dependencies and delivery constraintsEnsure delivery to scope timeline cost and quality expectationsProvide executive-level reporting on progress risks and outcomesPerform other duties as required This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position Employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management
Qualifications Knowledge and Skills:10+ years of experience in product management HR technology or enterprise systems delivery3–5+ years of people leadership or team oversightProven track record delivering complex enterprise-scale technology solutionsDeep experience with SAP SuccessFactors and/or HRIS platformsStrong background in Agile Scrum and/or traditional project management (PMP SAFe etc)Product mindset with ability to define vision roadmap and measurable outcomesStrong understanding of SDLC governance system architecture and delivery modelsAbility to translate business strategy into technical executionAdvanced stakeholder management and executive communication skillsStrong analytical problem-solving and decision-making capabilitiesExperience leading HR transformation or digital transformation initiativesExposure to integrated HR ecosystems (eg SAP Salesforce ServiceNow AI-driven talent platforms)Certifications such as CSPO SAFe PO/PM PMP or SAP SuccessFactorsStrategic thinker with strong execution disciplineOperates effectively in ambiguous fast-paced environmentsDrives outcomes not just deliveriesBalances technical depth with business acumenBuild trust across executive functional and technical teams
