Lead Genesys' public sector growth strategy in Mexico, building trusted relationships across federal, state, and municipal government entities, institutes, and public organizations. This role owns strategic engagement with the Agencia de Transformación Digital y Telecomunicaciones (ATDT), connecting its digital government priorities, procurement cycles, and policy agenda with solutions that improve how public institutions serve citizens.
You will shape complex, high-value opportunities from strategy through execution, influencing senior government stakeholders, navigating public procurement frameworks, and aligning internal teams around compliant, customer-focused solutions. Your leadership will directly influence revenue growth, market position, and long-term relationships across Mexico's public sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the public sector sales strategy for Mexico to deliver sustainable revenue growth across federal, state, and municipal government accounts, institutes, and public organizations

Build trusted executive relationships with decision-makers at ATDT and other strategic government entities to strengthen Genesys' position as a long-term technology partner

Develop strategic account plans that connect ATDT priorities, government policy objectives, budget cycles, and digital transformation initiatives with relevant Genesys capabilities

Drive a qualified pipeline of new public sector opportunities by identifying emerging government priorities, funding cycles, procurement initiatives, and strategic transformation programs

Lead complex, end-to-end sales cycles involving multiple government stakeholders, public procurement requirements, regulatory considerations, and internal decision-makers
-
Navigate public tenders, RFPs, contract awards, budget cycles, and applicable public sector regulations to advance opportunities with appropriate commercial and compliance discipline

Negotiate commercial and contractual terms within Mexican public sector frameworks while balancing customer requirements, business objectives, risk, and long-term account value

Drive alignment across Legal, Solution Consulting, Delivery, and ecosystem partners to develop compliant, differentiated proposals that address measurable government and citizen-service priorities

Maintain disciplined forecasting, CRM accuracy, opportunity governance, and pipeline management to improve predictability and support informed business decisions

Influence Genesys' go-to-market approach by translating government priorities, customer needs, and market developments into actionable input for internal stakeholders

Deliver or exceed assigned revenue and growth objectives while strengthening Genesys' strategic presence across Mexico's public sector
Required Qualifications:
-
10+ years of senior commercial experience with a proven track record of selling technology solutions to public sector and government organizations in Mexico

Demonstrated knowledge of ATDT, including its structure, processes, priorities, digital government agenda, and role within Mexico's public sector transformation initiatives
-
Established network and demonstrated credibility with decision-makers and stakeholders across Mexican federal, state, municipal, and other public sector institutions
-
Extensive experience navigating Mexican public procurement cycles, including public tenders, RFPs, contract awards, budget processes, and applicable public sector regulations
-
Proven success leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and developing strategic government accounts
-
Strong commercial judgment and negotiation capability within regulated and compliance-sensitive environments
-
Executive-level communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior government and internal stakeholders with credibility
-
Strong discipline in strategic account planning, pipeline governance, forecasting, and CRM management
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience within a government agency, regulator, public institution, or technology provider serving Mexico's public sector
-
Strong knowledge of Mexico's digital government, e-government, telecommunications, cloud, AI, automation, or citizen-experience policy landscape

Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies with channel, technology, consulting, or ecosystem partners serving government clients

Experience positioning enterprise cloud, AI, customer experience, contact center, or digital transformation solutions within complex public sector environments
