General Summary:
Qualcomm is building something new. Q Studio is our in-house creative studio, and we are looking for a Graphic Designer who brings sharp visual instincts, strong motion skills, and a genuine curiosity for what AI tools can do in the hands of a talented designer.
In this role you will own the production of AI-generated photography assets and short-form hero animations that fuel always-on social, campaign, and digital channels across every Qualcomm line of business. You will work inside Adobe Creative Cloud daily, and you will be expected to push what is possible with Firefly, Gemini, and Veo as generative tools in your workflow.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role sitting inside a fast-moving creative team. You will work closely with art directors, motion designers, and content strategists to deliver high-volume, high-quality output without sacrificing craft.
Use Adobe Firefly, Gemini, and Veo to generate, extend, and composite photography assets for each Qualcomm line of business including compute, mobile, auto, IoT, XR, and compute
Design and produce short hero animations (5 to 15 seconds) optimized for social, paid digital, web, and display formats
Proficiency across Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro
Experience designing for digital and social formats with working knowledge of platform specs across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X
You treat AI tools as creative leverage, not a shortcut. You know how to push a model, refine its output, and make it indistinguishable from intentional craft
You are fast without being careless. High-volume social content demands both speed and quality, and you hold both
You have opinions about design but stay flexible in service of the work. You give and receive feedback well
You are self-directed and organized. Q Studio is being built from the ground up, and ambiguity does not slow you down
You are genuinely excited about where AI-assisted design is going and want to be at the frontier of that inside a global technology company
