The Senior Maintenance Engineer plays a crucial role in the company's strategic initiatives, focusing on problem-solving and ensuring data integrity for continuous improvement. They lead the implementation of best practices in maintenance, develop digital platforms to streamline daily operations, and establish a comprehensive maintenance audit system covering workshops, tool carts, and documentation. Additionally, they transform databases into executive dashboards, develop performance reports, generate key performance indicators (KPIs), design systems for tracking corrective actions, and monitor deviations to ensure effective closure of actions.
- Ensure equipment reliability and product quality by maintaining high standards in maintenance practices and performance.
- Lead maintenance projects end-to-end, including planning, execution, budgeting, and stakeholder alignment.
- Drive effective use and continuous improvement projects (Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM or similar), ensuring compliance with global standards and processes.
- Coordinate maintenance operations across teams and departments, including backup support for the Maintenance Manager when needed.
- Optimize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies while leading continuous improvement and resolving critical issues through root cause analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent) with strong experience in maintenance or manufacturing, ideally in multinational environments.
- Solid technical knowledge of injection moulds maintenance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills; experience with Lean/Six Sigma (Green Belt is a plus).
- Proficiency in advanced tools such as Excel, Power BI, SAP or any other CMMS (knowledge or Power apps)
- Advanced communication skills both in English and Spanish, verbally and in writing and comfortable in presenting complex ideas.
