Job Description:
Join our Supply Chain organization as a Senior Supervisor, Warehouse Operations, where you will lead both internal warehouse operations and the management of a key third-party logistics provider (3PL) supporting our manufacturing operations.
This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient flow of materials from receiving through production supply and shipping activities while maintaining inventory integrity and operational excellence. The position requires strong leadership skills, advanced stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across both company-operated and outsourced warehouse operations.
You will play a critical role in guaranteeing material availability for production, inventory accuracy, logistics cost control, and service excellence while partnering closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, Transportation, Finance, and external logistics providers.

Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory management, production line replenishment, material handling, and shipping activities.

Supervise and develop warehouse teams, including unionized employees, ensuring a safe, productive, and engaged work environment.

Manage the relationship and operational performance of the third-party logistics provider (3PL), ensuring compliance with safety, quality, inventory, and service requirements.

Conduct regular reviews with the 3PL to ensure inventory transactions are accurately executed and properly reflected in company systems.

Monitor inbound and outbound material flows between manufacturing operations and external warehouse facilities.

Ensure uninterrupted material supply to production lines, minimizing shortages and operational disruptions.

Lead cycle count programs, physical inventories, inventory reconciliation activities, and inventory accuracy improvement initiatives.

Validate and approve 3PL operational billing, ensuring services provided align with contractual agreements and preventing overcharges.

Develop and monitor warehouse KPIs related to safety, inventory accuracy, service, productivity, cost, and quality.

Identify operational risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on warehouse efficiency, inventory optimization, material flow, and cost reduction.

Partner closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, Transportation, Finance, and Quality teams to improve end-to-end supply chain performance.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing supply chain operations.

Proven experience supervising unionized workforce within a manufacturing environment.

Strong experience managing warehouse operations that support manufacturing and production lines.

Demonstrated experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), including operational governance, performance management, and service reviews.

Experience managing inventory control processes, cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory accuracy initiatives.

Experience ensuring material availability and production line replenishment within a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of warehouse KPIs, inventory transactions, and ERP systems.

Experience reviewing and validating logistics provider invoices and service charges.

Proven track record leading continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable operational results.

Advanced English proficiency required, with the ability to lead meetings, manage stakeholders, and communicate effectively with regional or global teams.

Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.

Ability to work effectively in fast-paced manufacturing and supply chain environments.

Experience managing off-site warehouse operations through a 3PL partner.

Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.

Lean Manufacturing, Lean Warehousing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement certifications.

Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing operations.

Strong financial acumen related to logistics costs, warehouse spend, and supplier management.
