Medical Research Specialist (RN or Physician)Position Summary
ExcellentFlow Management Solutions, Inc., based in California, USA, is seeking an experienced Medical Research Specialist to support the development of clinical solutions, provider education, and healthcare quality initiatives.
This position focuses on three primary areas of responsibility:
- Train healthcare providers on proper clinical documentation and effective use of our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Research and master U.S. healthcare incentive programs, clinical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Design and develop clinical templates that align with each clinic's practice, specialty, and workflow.
This position requires exceptional research, reading comprehension, analytical thinking, and presentation skills. The ideal candidate must be capable of reviewing large volumes of clinical literature, government regulations, payer policies, and medical publications, then transforming that information into practical workflows and provider training materials.
A minimum of one (1) year of professional clinical research, quality improvement, medical education, or related healthcare experience is required. Candidates without relevant experience should not apply.
Applicants must also be able to provide proof of previous accomplishments, such as research projects, provider education materials, clinical protocols, quality improvement initiatives, published work, presentations, or other evidence demonstrating experience in this field.
Primary Responsibilities1. Provider Training & Clinical Education
- Train physicians and other healthcare providers on proper use of the company's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Develop educational materials, presentations, and training guides.
- Educate providers on accurate clinical documentation based on current clinical guidelines and quality measures.
2. Clinical & Healthcare Research
- Conduct extensive research on U.S. healthcare incentive programs, including HEDIS, ANNUAL WELLNESS, and value-based care programs.
- Research clinical practice guidelines, evidence-based medicine, government regulations, payer policies, and industry updates.
- Read, analyze, interpret, and summarize medical literature, clinical studies, and healthcare publications.
- Attend webinars, conferences, and educational sessions to remain current on healthcare regulations and industry changes.
- Translate research findings into practical recommendations for providers and internal teams.
3. EHR Clinical Template Development
- Develop, and improve clinical templates for the company's proprietary EHR system.
- Ensure templates align with evidence-based medicine, payer documentation requirements, and clinical best practices.
- Collaborate with software developers and operations teams to implement clinical workflows within the EHR.
- Continuously improve templates based on updated regulations, research findings, and provider feedback.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Physician (MD/DO) license — REQUIRED.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in medical research, clinical quality improvement, provider education, healthcare compliance, clinical documentation improvement (CDI), or a related healthcare field.

- Excellent research, reading comprehension, and analytical skills.
- Strong ability to interpret clinical studies, government regulations, payer manuals, and healthcare policies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience creating presentations, educational materials, or provider training content.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple research projects simultaneously.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience training physicians or other healthcare providers.
- Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR) systems.
- Knowledge of U.S. healthcare incentive programs such as HEDIS, Medicare quality programs, preventive care initiatives, RAF/HCC documentation, and other value-based care measures.
- Experience developing clinical workflows, documentation tools, or provider education materials.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations, CMS guidelines, payer policies, and clinical quality measures.
Important Notice
This position requires both clinical expertise and strong research capabilities. Successful candidates must demonstrate the ability to independently research healthcare topics, critically evaluate medical literature, and convert that information into provider education and practical clinical tools.
Candidates without an active RN or Physician license and the required research experience will not be considered.

Pay: $17,000.00 - $25,000.00 per month
