The Opportunity
The Senior Finance Analyst – Away From Home Beverage provides end-to-end financial analytics, forecasting, and decision support to the Away From Home (AFH) Canada Beverage organization. This role is a key finance partner to Finance, Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning, and the AFH Leadership Team (AFH LT), with a strong emphasis on forecasting accuracy, demand planning integration (IBP), and performance reporting. The role focuses on utilizing effective communication to influence decision making in order to drive overall AFH Beverage topline performance.

As Sales Finance Sr Analyst your responsibilities would consist of …
Forecasting, Demand Planning & Performance Management

Prepare & communicate weekly, periodic, quarterly financial results for AFH Beverages across various views (package-level, customer-level, distribution method)

Own the preparation & rollup of the AFH Beverage demand planning forecast and CO2 forecasts, ensuring accurate customer, geographic and pack-level rollups reflect reasonable assumptions provided by the Key Account Manager team

Provide & communicate variances versus plan, prior year, and latest forecast, translating results into clear risks, opportunities, and recommended actions for AFH & Finance leadership teams

Execute and lead period end close activities for AFH Beverages driving accurate, timebound driven & clear results for the overall financial close process
Planning & Strategic Support

Support the overall development of the AFH Beverage Annual Operating Plan (AOP) & lead the buildout of the customer, pack & brand-level AOP financial model

Prepare & present P&Ls for upcoming AFH-specific innovation products in collaboration with Sales and Marketing, incorporating considerations for pricing, COGS, cost of sales & volume opportunity
Reporting & Insights

Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting tools and templates that enable clear price, mix, volume performance attribution of AFH Beverages performance (e.g. CoC, Weekly Results reporting, Forecast file)

Translate detailed financial and operational data into concise storytelling for leadership and cross-functional partners

Support the responsibilities of ICC Reporting Analyst in day-to-day activities (e.g. weekly results)
Business Partnership & Reporting Enablement

Serve as the “go-to” for all reporting & system specific questions related to AFH Beverage data

Educate Sales, Marketing & AFH Leadership on the use of AFH reporting best practices, reporting tools available & address concerns or questions related to AFH reportable data (Weekly Sales, Tibersoft, etc.)

Support the Sales team with ad hoc reporting analyses where necessary (outlet-level analysis, reporting discrepancies across systems, trade calculations, package or customer performance attribution)

Contribute to the adoption of Mosaic & SAP reporting for AFH Beverage & lead workstreams related to data clean up of SAP-specific data relative to legacy systems
Qualifications:
Who Are We Looking For?

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; MBA, CPA, and/or CFA considered an asset

4+ years of progressive financial analysis, forecasting, or planning experience, preferably within the CPG or foodservice industry

Advanced English level

Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to synthesize insights and drive recommendations

Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to partner cross-functionally and influence without authority

High proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP, Power BI, Tableau strongly preferred
-
Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
