To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Tooling Manager located in Guadalajara North , Campus.
The Tool Room Manager is responsible for leading all tooling, die
maintenance, die development, troubleshooting, repairs, and
continuous improvement activities supporting metal stamping
operations. This position ensures progressive, transfer, and blanking
dies operate at optimal performance levels to meet safety, quality,
delivery, and productivity objectives.
The role serves as the technical authority for die design reviews, die
adjustments, press troubleshooting, die life management, and stamping
process optimization while leading a team of toolmakers, die makers,
CNC machinists, and maintenance technicians.
What a typical day looks like:

Management of new tooling requisitions from prototype or complex designs through mass production.

Responsible for improvements, major repairs, and Engineering Change Notice to the molds.
- Implementation of preventive maintenance for production molds.
- Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements including but not limited to researching, designing, modifying, testing manufacturing methods and equipment.

Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing tooling and process.

Implementation of quality and safety improvements in training for tool room team.

Generation and implementation of cost reduction ideas.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

Experience managing operations & engineering in electronic manufacturing
- Strong background in Toolin Engineering
- BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience

Fluent English

Lead, develop, and mentor Tool Makers, Die Technicians,
Machinists, and Apprentices. -
Lead die tryouts, first-piece validation, and process qualification
activities. -
Serve as the primary technical expert for die troubleshooting and
process stabilization. -
Ability to review and improve:
o Die designs
o Strip layouts
o Forming simulations
o Die change requests
o Tooling modifications -
Experience supporting metal stamping operations.

Proven experience leading die improvement and stamping
optimization projects.
