Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 MXN gross per month
Contract: Initial 3-month project with a strong possibility of extension and long-term employment.
We are seeking an experienced SDET Engineer to join a high-impact project focused on delivering quality software through robust test automation and quality assurance practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of test strategies and test plans.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress and TypeScript.
- Execute End-to-End, API, and Performance testing initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with development, product, and business teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct code reviews and provide recommendations to improve testability and quality.
- Analyze test results and identify opportunities for process and product improvements.
- Mentor QA team members and promote testing best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across QA processes.
Required Qualifications
- 6-8 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Cypress and TypeScript (required).
- Experience with JMeter, Postman, Jest, SQL/Databases, and Jira.
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and testing methodologies.
- Experience writing and executing complex automated test cases and test scripts.
- Expertise in End-to-End, API, and Performance/Load Testing.
- Experience using Git or other version control systems.
- Familiarity with AWS CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
