The Opportunity
Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an experienced and results-driven Corporate Director of Sales, Meetings & Events to lead the global sales execution for our Meetings & Events business within Amstar. In this role, you will work closely with the AVP Commercial and regional sales leadership teams to drive revenue growth, optimize sales performance, and strengthen our position as a market leader in destination services.
You will play a critical role in translating commercial strategy into actionable plans, ensuring strong pipeline performance, high conversion rates, and consistent delivery of sales targets across all destinations. The Role
As Corporate Director of Sales, Meetings & Events, you will:
Lead the global execution of the Meetings & Events commercial strategy in partnership with the AVP Commercial
Drive revenue performance, pipeline health, and sales effectiveness across all markets
Lead and develop a high-performing global sales organization, including Regional Directors of Sales
Oversee forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, visibility, and alignment with commercial objectives
Optimize sales performance through pricing discipline, RFP conversion strategies, and pipeline management
Build and maintain relationships with key clients, agencies, and strategic partners
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Product teams to ensure alignment between sales commitments and delivery capabilities
Ensure consistent adoption of commercial tools, systems, and best practices across all destinations
Analyze market trends, sales performance, and competitive positioning to provide insights and recommendations
Represent Amstar and Hyatt in industry events, client engagements, and strategic forums
