Descripción completa del empleo

Process and controls engineer with 5+ years of experience in industrial environments, focused on the development, configuration, and implementation of manufacturing processes and industrial applications from concept through commissioning. Strong background in early industrialization, equipment/tooling start-up, stabilization, and qualification, ensuring production performance and quality under automotive standards (IATF 16949 and Automotive Core Tools). Serves as the key technical contact for internal and external support in troubleshooting process issues related to controls, automation, PLCs, DSS, and vision systems.

Key Skills

Equipment industrialization & start-up: commissioning, stabilization, ramp-up, production release
PLCs: administration, debugging, development, and program backups
Integration of sensors, cameras, and vision systems (IFM / COGNEX / KEYENCE)
Industrial manufacturing/assembly applications (hardware/software)
CNC / G-Code support (incl. SINUMERIK Siemens when applicable)
Process optimization: uptime, performance, quality, and scrap reduction
Technical documentation and change traceability (parameters, evidence, lessons learned)
Automotive standards knowledge: IATF 16949 and Core Tools

Responsibilities

Implement and support industrial manufacturing and assembly applications (hardware/software).
Lead new equipment start-up and stabilization, ensuring production and quality performance.
Manage and optimize PLCs, DSS, and vision systems; integrate assembly tools with process/quality requirements.
Run controlled trial-and-error adjustments with full traceability of changes, parameters, and results.
Maintain technical documentation and support equipment/tooling qualification and technical release in coordination with Quality/Industrialization.
