About the role
Smiles Dental is a premier dental clinic in Los Algodones, Mexico, serving patients from the United States and Canada seeking world-class dental care at a fraction of US prices. We specialize in high-value treatments: dental implants, full-mouth restorations, veneers, and more — with average treatment values above $5,000 USD.
We are looking for a bilingual Patient Care Coordinator to manage our inbound leads from Instagram, Facebook, and Google Ads. These are warm leads — people who already raised their hand. Your job is not to pitch, but to listen, build trust, and guide them toward booking a consultation.
This is a remote role based in Tijuana. You will communicate with patients primarily via WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, Call and email — in English and Spanish.
What you'll do
- Respond to inbound leads within 1–2 hours via WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, Facebook messages, and email
- Follow up consistently with leads who haven't responded within 24–48 hours
- Understand each patient's needs, answer questions about treatments, pricing, and logistics
- Handle objections with empathy and confidence ("Why should I come to Mexico?", "Is it safe?", "How do I know it's quality?")
- Schedule consultations and coordinate with the clinic on patient arrival
- Follow up with patients post-consultation to convert evaluations into booked treatments
- Log all activity in the CRM (leads, follow-ups, closings, notes)
- Report weekly metrics: contacted, scheduled, closed
What we're looking for
- Fluent bilingual English–Spanish (English is the primary language of our patients — this is non-negotiable)
- Experience in consultative sales, high-value client service, or patient coordination (dental or medical is a plus, not a requirement)
- Excellent written communication — warm, clear, professional, and trustworthy
- Disciplined follow-up mindset — you don't wait for leads to come back; you go to them
- Comfortable with performance metrics and conversion goals
- Proficient with WhatsApp Business, Instagram, Facebook, and basic tools (Google Sheets, CRM)
Nice to have
- Experience at a dental or medical clinic
- Knowledge of treatments like implants, veneers, or all-on-4
- Experience handling leads from Meta Ads or Google Ads
- CRM experience (HubSpot, Zoho, or similar)
- Familiarity with dental tourism and the US–Mexico border health market
Compensation
Base salary: $14,000 MXN/month (based on experience and verified English level)
Commission structure:
- 2% per closed treatment — up to 2 closings/month
- 3% per closed treatment — 3 to 6 closings/month
- 4% per closed treatment — 7+ closings/month (top performer tier)
Example earnings (at $5,000 USD average ticket, ~$17 MXN/USD):
- 4 closings at 3% → ~$40,800 MXN/month total
- 8 closings at 4% → ~$74,800 MXN/month total
Commission is paid the month following confirmed patient payment.
How to apply
To be considered, please answer the following 3 questions IN ENGLISH in your application message:
- Why are you interested in this role?
- Describe a time you convinced a hesitant customer or patient to move forward. What did you do?
- What does your approach look like when a lead stops responding after initial contact?
Applications without English responses will not be reviewed.
