What is your role?
As a Test and Qualification Technician Jr, you will support laboratory testing activities for optical telecommunications products, including verification, qualification, and reliability testing. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, follows procedures carefully, and is motivated to learn in a structured laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the setup, execution, and tracking of laboratory tests in accordance with documented procedures and applicable standards
Assist with sample handling, test readiness checks, equipment setup, and optical measurements using manual or automated systems
Document test results, support basic data analysis, and help maintain laboratory reports and records
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while supporting calibration, fixtures, and other general laboratory activities
Experiences/Education - Required
Technical Associate’s degree (TSU)
Previous experience in electronics, fiber optics, or other technical hands-on work is a plus
Ability to use test and measurement equipment in a laboratory or technical environment
Ability to follow documented procedures accurately and complete tasks within established timelines
Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Basic English proficiency desired
