We are currently looking for a Credit Collector to manage our portfolio of North American customers in US Time zone. You will be part of our Credit and Collections Team for North America based in México. We are offering the opportunity to dive into our AR processes and learn and develop within the role. The Credit Collector is responsible for collecting and recovering payments on time from the customers while ensuring that the customer accounts are up to date.
Main responsibilities:
Communicating with our clients daily
Track and resolve outstanding payment issues
Own, report and proactively escalate any queries preventing payments
Assist in clarifying unapplied cash
Resolve billing issues and address customer invoice queries
Identify delinquent accounts to be written off or placed with collection agency
Prepare and contribute to various AR reports
Provide credit checks and release blocked orders
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with various stakeholders at all business levels
Participate in various ad-hoc Group projects to improve order-to-cash process
Execute other administrative tasks
Experience and skills:
Approx. 3-5 years proven experience as an AR Clerk/Credit Controller or similar finance role
Experience within a Financial Shared Service Centre is preferred
Sound accounting and Excel skills
Fluent English. Any other European language is an advantage.
Confident user of MS Office Tools and SAP
Proactive and hands-on mentality
Strong communicator
Well-developed organization and prioritization skills
Secondary school certificate is a must, BSc in Finance & Accounting or in Business Administration is an advantage.
