ABOUT THE POSITION
Slurpies is a fast-growing frozen beverage brand based in Puerto Escondido. We operate a food truck with seating area and outdoor space, and are expanding into multiple locations. It is a high-energy, outdoor work environment in hot weather, with a high operating standard.
We are looking for a Store Manager who takes full ownership of the business on behalf of the owners. It's not a supervisory position — it's full operational responsibility. You run the store, you own the results, and you come to us with solutions, not problems.
Most of your hours are face-to-face leading the team on site. Administrative work is done from home or our office at defined times. It is a full-time position, 5 to 6 days per week.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Daily and weekly sales goals — your performance is directly tied to these numbers
- Team management, coaching, and development — you train your team in sales, leadership, and customer service
- The complete customer experience — every visit follows our 8-step customer journey
- Hiring pipeline — from filtering to onboarding
- Cash accountability — daily logging, variance reporting, and weekly reconciliation
- SOPs — written, updated, and followed at all times
- On-site presence — you're the standard on the floor, not just in the office
HOW WE OPERATE
We manage this business on a professional level. We use KPIs, SOPs, structured reports and a clear accountability framework. We're scaling to ten locations, and the systems we built now are the foundation of that growth. You need to feel comfortable and excited about that kind of environment.
As owners, we come to you. You don't wait for us to tell you what to do. You know the goals, you know the standard, and you make decisions. Escalations to us are for specific situations only: cash variances, disciplinary processes, contracts, and significant drops in performance.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 3 years of food and beverage management experience — non-negotiable
- Experience in a food or beverage chain that operates with KPIs, SOPs and accelerated work pace
- Have managed a business or location independently — you've been responsible for results, not just tasks
- Proven ability to coach teams in sales, customer service, and leadership
- Excellent customer service — you set the standard and model it
- Comfortable working outdoors in a high-energy, high-temperature environment
- Clear, direct and solution-oriented communication
- 100% bilingual in Spanish and English — fluent in both languages
- Based in Puerto Escondido or with a confirmed and concrete relocation plan
WHAT THIS POST IS NOT
- It's not a remote or hybrid position — your workplace is the floor
- It's not a role for someone who is still building their managerial experience
- It's not a calm environment — we move fast and expect you to lead that pace
- It's not a position where the owners manage you — you manage yourself and report results
LOCATION REQUIREMENT
This position is 100% face-to-face in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca.

COMPENSATION
- Base salary: $20,000 MXN per month
- Monthly bonus scheme directly linked to meeting sales goals
- $15,000 MXN Relocation Support for Candidates Moving to Puerto Escondido
- Biweekly payment
