Perform design, calculation and review of technical information for the manufacture of electrical transformers, in accordance with standards, international procedures (ANSI, ASME,CFE, DIN, ISO, IEEE, CSA, ASTM), internally established quality policies (TDR) and customer specifications, meeting the needs of customers and STM, with respect for the environment and adherence to safe work practices and prevention of illicit activities.

PRODUCT DESIGN ENGINEERING (MECHANICAL ENGINEER)
- Education: Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electromechanical Engineer

Experience: 0–2 years

CAD tools proficiency: CREO (preferred), AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor
-
Strong knowledge of technical drafting: solid understanding of orthographic projections, including first- and third-angle projection. Experience in dimensioning and locating features, as well as interpreting technical drawings

Knowledge of mechanical concepts: strength of materials and deformation

Knowledge and interpretation of fabrication drawings in the metal-mechanical industry, including machining instructions, welding (AWS / ISO), surface finishes, and corrosion protection systems

Knowledge and management of Bills of Materials (BOM) in technical drawings
-
Knowledge and selection of commercial steel profiles suitable for structural applications

Responsibility to comply with and enforce current Integrated Management System requirements (EHS, Quality)

Ability to communicate technical information clearly and accurately

The selected person will work jointly with the Company's Factory Management, commercial and technical teams and other support areas of the Company. Working closely with sales and marketing departments to understand customer requirements and market trends. This helps in designing products that not only meet technical specifications but also appeal to the target market.
