Your Role
The Lead Financial Analyst will support Vantive's Corporate IT function. In this role, you will collaborate with functional leadership, commercial, Center of Excellence, and other cross-functional stakeholders across the financial planning and analysis activities.
What you’ll be doing
Assist with the annual operating plan, quarterly forecast and other financial reporting requests.
Interact with IT management to explain the budget or financial planning process, identify factors impacting expenses or financial trends, highlight opportunities for improvement and create effective exhibits to explain the business plan.
Analyzes and interprets financial results, comparing actual performance to prior periods, plan, and forecasts.
Lead the Capital Expenditure process: assist IT staff with CER preparation, reporting and project closure.
Monthly reporting of capital spending vs plan/forecast
Prepare utilization rates for project and product hours compared to plan/forecast
Complete transactions related to IT labor charge-outs/capitalization; prepaid reclasses, AUC reclasses, IT chargeback, etc.
Drive value added insight through strategic evaluations, financial simulations, and excel modelling to provide insightful recommendations and support to achieve short-and long-term business objectives
Drive improved data analytics for function leadership and business partners
Facilitate interpretation and understanding of data, identify risks, develop recommendations and implement solutions
Design and prepare ad hoc analysis using business acumen and strong analytical expertise
Drive and own financial initiatives alignment with function along with updates in FP&A process
Act as trusted business partner, leveraging financial, and business expertise to drive financial decisions

Trains others on financial systems and manages key interfaces and interdependencies.

What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
Five years or more of related experience
Strong communication skills in English (verbal, written, and listening). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of JD Edwards (JDE) and/or PowerBI
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with finance and non-finance professionals at all levels
Demonstrated initiative, analytical thinking, critical-thinking, problem-solving skills, ability to operate independently with broad scope of responsibility under minimal supervision and under challenging time constraints
Demonstrated appropriate level of leadership experience to lead and influence
Strong analytical skills, familiarity with accounting and strong business acumen
Time management and influencing skills to drive initiative through complexity and change.
Ability to work cross-functionally and lead multiple priorities
Initiative, accountability, and integrity with attention to details
Eagerness to learn and continuously improve with willingness to challenge the status quo
