In this role, you will work closely with design, manufacturing, quality, and global engineering teams to take products from concept through high-volume production, ensuring robust designs, manufacturability, and continuous improvement.
This is a highly visible engineering position offering strong technical exposure, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to directly impact next-generation technology used by hyperscale and enterprise customers.
What You Will Do
- Support the design and development of mechanical components for high-speed connectors and cable systems.
- Act as a technical bridge between product design and manufacturing during new product introductions.
- Review new product concepts and provide design for manufacturability (DFM) and feasibility feedback.
- Collaborate closely with internal manufacturing teams and external suppliers to identify and resolve process and design issues.
- Lead or support root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
- Propose alternative design or process solutions and track improvement progress.
- Support FAI reviews, data analysis, and validation activities.
- Partner with Quality to review measurement features and ensure design robustness.
- Capture and share lessons learned across projects to strengthen future product launches.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and other engineering activities as assigned.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in mechanical product design or manufacturing of electronic products.
- Working knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and basic FEA concepts.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as NX, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes including injection molding, insert molding, die casting, stamping, and plating.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional, multicultural teams.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Business-level proficiency in English.
