Preschool English Teacher

Position Overview
The Preschool English Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that foster children's language acquisition, curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional growth while supporting the mission and values of Marymount School.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for preschool students.

Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.

Promote students' language development through play-based and hands-on learning experiences.

Assess student progress and maintain accurate academic records.

Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' development and achievements.

Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff.

Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.

Foster a classroom culture based on respect, kindness, and inclusion.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, English Language Teaching, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in preschool or early childhood education.

Native or near-native English proficiency (C1 level or higher preferred).

Teaching certification and/or ESL certification is an advantage.

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Passion for working with young children in a collaborative school community.
